Maximus has it all! Fine, dense, crimpy fiber, amazing coverage, heavy bone, nicely proportioned, beautiful presence and style. Crimping down his legs and into his top knot. A beautiful head and top knot.

And what a personality. His disposition is confident, intelligent, alert; he knows he is special. The pictures don't do him justice. His style and presence are amazing.

As you can see, Max has maintained his fineness as well as the other fiber characteristics at four years of age.  Max throws color including a bay black female and light brown female whose second coat looks to be rose gray.

Judges' comments include: He's a pleasure to watch walk around the ring; and I would be proud to take him home; and he deserves to be color champion.

With Legacy on his father's side and Royal Fawn on his mother's side, Maximus is the essence of the macho male alpaca. Max's dam is full sister to Royal Apollo.

After several months of searching for a junior herdsire, we finally purchased Pink Floyd from NeverSummer Alpacas in Colorado in November of 2003.  We took him to several shows in the Northwest in the spring of 2004 and he did well in the ring.  His fleece consistently took home blue ribbons from 2004 to 2006.

The first thing you notice about Floyd is his gorgeous virtually spot-free pinkish fleece.  Opening up his very dense fleece, you see bold and defined crimp throughout his blanket.

Floyd has excellent substance of bone, with a strong top line, fluid body movement, and a macho presence.  He has a very "typey" head with a tight topknot and solid dark-colored eyes.

He comes from parents who have both maintained unusual fineness as they have aged.  He also has a mellow, curious disposition.

His rose gray cria come from rose gray or bay black dams.  One of his rose gray sons was recently sold as a junior herdsire.

CA Peruvian Incantation is a Full Peruvian male out of two outstanding imports from the Sollcata region of Peru. His dam, 5P Mignon is dark silver grey and his sire, 4P Black Magic is true black. His parents gave Incantation the perfect combination of a heavy-boned, athletic frame, and excellent fiber characteristics. His fleece is dense with lots of crimp. He's so black he casts a purple hue in the sunlight.  Incantation is a dream to handle, thanks to his mellow personality.
