Foundation Herd

BeaverCreek's Margarita

Sire:  PRA Don Miguel      Dam:  Meadowlark's Flower Song

Color: Medium Rose Grey   Born: 6/5/1998

Heritage: 1/2 Peruvian, 1/2 Chilean

Maggie, along with Pink Floyd,  is the cornerstone of our breeding program. She consistently produces offspring with fine fleece. When bred with grey herdsires, she has thrown light rose gray and bay black cria.

Her fleece has remained consistent during her breeding years and is still relatively fine (25.6, 6.8, 26.6, 13.6%). Yarn processed from her fleece is just a pleasure to knit with.

We can't seem to keep her babies on the farm. We have either sold or have been asked to sell every cria she has had.  We eagerly anticipate her Pink Floyd cria next spring.

Almost Paradise Farms Cascadia

Sire:  CAA Capitan Rosado      Dam:  BeaverCreek's Margarita

Color: Bay Black/Multi            Born: 9/11/2003

Heritage: 3/4 Chilean, 1/4 Peruvian

We can't wait to use Cascadia in our breeding program! She is a robust girl with great conformation. She has fine fleece for a bay black as well (21.6, 4.8, 22, 3.1%). Cassie inherited her mom's mellow disposition.  She took 2nd place at 2005 AlpacaPalooza & 1st Place at AWE.  She had the most beautiful lavender grey male (Ferris) this summer and was bred back to Pink Floyd.

Miss Danielle

Sire:  HVLA Louis Armstrong   Dam:  Marianna

Color: Med Silver Grey            Born: 9/4/2004

Danielle has one of the nicest fleeces that I have seen on a gray alpaca - fine and crimpy and virtually spot free. She has a nice compact frame and a typey head. She took 2 blue ribbons at her first show (NW Alpaca Showcase 2005)!  Quite an accomplishment. She recently took third place at 'Palooza and at AWE.  She is currently bred to CA Peruvian Incantation.
